Auto Dialing System in Re Area

The system is capable of connecting RAILWAY Exchange and DOT exchange by pressing the designated button from the Way Side Telephone through Test Room.  Way Side Telephone will work similar to Auto Telephone and becomes either subscriber of RAILWAY exchange or DOT exchange. Connection is achieved automatically. The Auto Dialing system consists of a Base Unit with CPU (Central Processing Unit) and interface unit consisting of 4 Wire / 2 Wire  conversion and amplification circuitry, for networking between RAILWAY telephone exchange, DOT telephone exchange and RAILWAY OMNIBUS / Way Side Equipment in RE area.  The “BASE UNITâ€� is installed in the Test Room.

It is possible to connect either RAILWAY EXCHANGE or DOT EXCHANGE only one at a time, by pressing designated button from the Way Side Telephone. 
Dial “*â€� to connect RAILWAY EXCHANGE and Dial “#â€� to connect DOT EXCHANGE.  Incoming call either from DOT EXCHANGE or RAILWAY EXCHANGE can be connected to Way Side Telephone by dialing the station code.  As soon as the call is answered by pressing # or * ring back tone shall stop and the communication will be through. All components used are LCSO/DOT approved as far as possible. All PCBs are of 1.6mm thick with 35microns copper clad and tinning, solder masking and legend printing is also done.  All controls and terminals are legibly marked.  All transformers are of soft ferrite core, impregnated with varnish and epoxy potted. This system consists of 2 Parts:

• Way side telephone with 12V/4 AH Maintenance Free Battery.

• Base Station Unit
